The Ruta Maya guiding principle is “Opportunities para las Americas” (Opportunities for the Americas). Mayan farmers harvesting coffee beans. Ruta Maya imports 100 percent organic Arabica coffee beans shade-grown by a cooperative of farmers in the highlands of Chiapas, Mexico.
